I’ve been using the Lunakai Creatine Monohydrate Gummies for about three weeks now, and I can honestly say they’ve made a big difference in how I recover after workouts. I’m not a fan of messy powders or carrying a shaker everywhere, so these watermelon-flavored gummies are a game-changer—super easy to toss in my gym bag and taste great too. I’ve noticed my muscles don’t feel as sore the next day, and I feel more consistent strength-wise during my lifting sessions. Plus, I appreciate that they’re vegan and free of weird fillers or artificial junk. Great product that fits into my busy routine!
The Lunakai USA Made Creatine Monohydrate Gummies, Watermelon, 60 count are very strongly flavored with a slightly bitter and overwhelmingly candy watermelon flavor. The texture is mostly gumdrop soft and chewy with creatine grit present throughout. These are high in calories from empty carbs, so I generally use them as a component of pre-workout fueling or post-workout recovery fueling.I can't say that I like the flavor, but they are much easier to consume than creatine powder at least. The bottle claims made in USA and lists lot# and expiration date as well as cGMP and 3rd Party testing labels.
The first thing I noticed when taking my post workout 3 gummy doses, the chewyness, was less than I was expecting, and less gummy-like. I haven't had an "Airhead" in years but it just so happens there were some in my daughter's Easter basket and these gummies are chewy and gritty just like Airheads. Taste, well they do taste like watermelon, but in an artificial sweetener way. Other Creatine gummies I've had have tasted more candy like, these are definitely more "supplement trying to be candy" like. I'm kinda in the fence if that's a good or bad thing. I'll leave it at that, even if you don't like the taste, 3 gummies are not hard to take, you could probably even swallow them if you really wanted to.
These come in a well-sealed bottle and show to be made in the USA. The warnings and instructions on the bottle read very much like what I see on products made in China, so I was skeptical, but as the photo shows, it does have a big ol' Made in the USA stamp on it. In terms of taste, these are watermelon flavored and have just a slight watermelon taste to them. They aren't like typical gummies--they aren't chewy; in fact, they leave a kind of chalky feeling and aftertaste. I know I'm not describing it well, but it's weird. Nonetheless, they aren't gross (and I've tasted some gross gummies before), so while I don't find these to taste great and don't feel like I'm stealing a piece of candy, they are decent enough to not deter me from taking them. I personally am taking them because I'm menopausal, and my OB/GYN said that I would benefit from creatine supplements. I hate taking pills, so I decided to give these a try.
